Very comfortable with a great host. Breakfast was good and the bedding wax extremely comfortable and expensive.

What a treat to stay in a Manor that is so well cared for. We felt very welcome and this is always our favourite stay in Somerset East.

Deon is an exceptional host. In all my travels, I have never met anyone who is as welcoming and attentive as he is. The property is beautifully maintained, with immaculate gardens and spotless rooms. I stayed in Room 2 and found the bed extremely comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding. As all the restaurants in Somerset East are closed on Sunday evenings, Deon kindly prepared dinner for us. The lasagne and salad were superb and much appreciated. I would highly recommend Herberg Manor to anyone planning to stay in or near Somerset East. Thank you, Deon, for your outstanding hospitality.

A beautiful historic building turned into a luxurious guesthouse. We stayed in the family room which had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The views are stunning. We felt well looked after and would recommend to anyone staying over in Somerset East. Deon, the manager, is very attentive and accommodating and great and keeping in touch.

Positive: The location was perfect and rooms spacious and comfortable with a great host to support every request
Negative: Pool was not well maintained

Manager was very accommodating, on Sunday night he provided a meal which was beyond his remit. Abeautiful old house with a magnificent view. Our room was upgraded at no cost.
